The Washington Justice Rebuild Continues

As the 2019 off-season continues, each day brings more roster updates. While not as crazy as many other teams, the Washington Justice have been having their fair share of roster changes. The Justice have officially signed rOar, former main tank of the Los Angeles Gladiators, and Ttuba, a flex DPS player formerly of Contenders. The team also resigned everyone’s favorite flex DPS player Stratus for the 2020/21 seasons. Let’s take a look at the three of these players and what they’ll bring to the Justice.

Re-enter the Stratusphere

Being a staple in the Justice’s Stage Four lineup, it’s hard to think that there was a time where Stratus found his name on a thread of forgettable Overwatch League players. Stratus showed the world his natural talent for DPS with an impressive Doomfist, Pharah and Mei. Known for his A+ meme game and positive attitude, Stratus has become a household name. However, he first made a name for himself by playing flex DPS for NRG Esports during Contenders 2018 Season 1 and 2. Stratus showed his skills on an array of DPS heroes. To the delight of many, Stratus is returning to the Justice for the 2020/2021 seasons where he can continue to show that PMA we’ve all grown to love.

From One Shield To Another

To the dismay of many LA Gladiators fans, the Justice have added rOar to their new tankline alongside fellow newcomers ELLIVOTE and LullSiSH. rOar has had a successful history in Overwatch, in both the Challengers and Contenders leagues in Korea. rOar has notably tanked for LW Red, helping them win APEX Challengers Season 4 and Team Griffin (FKA Kongdoo Panthera) who placed 2nd at Contenders 2018 Season 2. Most significantly, rOar was a member of the LA Gladiators 2019 tankline, helping bring the team to playoffs. There is a lot rOar can bring to the Justice, like his talent for shot calling and team leadership, something many have noted the Justice lacked. rOar is the fifth signed player to the Justice’s Season Three lineup and will bring the team farther than they’ve ever gone before.

A Brand New Face

Justice’s most recent pick up is Ho-Sung “Ttuba” Lee, a flex DPS player from South Korea. Ttuba has been signed for the 2020 and 2021 season alongside along Stratus. Although he is virtually unknown to most, Ttuba won his first Contenders trials in season 1, 2018 with the Seven. Moving forward, Ttuba played for Team MVP in Contenders 2018 Season 3 and O2 Blast in Contenders 2019 Season 1. He’s most recently played in Contenders China for Bubble Buster Gaming. Ttuba is bilingual which will help him as he is now playing for a mixed roster. He is now the sixth player signed to Justice for 2020 alongside fan favorites Stratus and Corey on DPS and new tanks ELLIVOTE, LullSiSH and rOar. Ttuba may have a lot to prove but there’s no doubt he will be able to help bring the Justice to greatness in 2020.
